HeartWord is sharing from my heart truths that have impacted my life as I have journeyed as a Christian. Words have the power to build up or tear down. To heal or destroy. God has poured His love into my heart. His grace. His counsel. These reflections come from an exchange with him as I have wrestled with many issues, my own abilities and my sin. I am so amazed and thankful that I know a God who is in relationship with me. Many years ago I asked the question “What is the point”? I became aware of how I made mistakes and others made mistakes and I encountered the love of Jesus. I asked Jesus to sow a seed a love in my heart which would bring in His light and cast out the darkness and I felt peace. His love has been life giving, healing, transforming, forgiving, merciful, faithful and envisioning. He has kept me through many a storm and when I have made mistakes or others have forsaken me he has been constant. He has been my comforter through grief and illness. My prayer is that as you read the words I share from my heart you will encounter the resurrected Jesus who still speaks today. Who loves you and cares for you. Lisa Hutt
